When I wrote about Ghost Adventures locking down Travel Channel’s Ghostober lineup with their new Serial Killer Spirits mini-series and a Halloween event, the Halloween event only had a working title. Now it’s got an actual one: Ghost Adventures: Curse of the Harrisville Farmhouse.

On Halloween night, the crew investigates the home of the Perron family, whose horrifying hauntings were portrayed in the film, The Conjuring.

The Rhode Island farmhouse is not for the faint of heart. Many feel it’s among the most terrifying places in the world. Poltergeist activity, physical attacks, oppression and even possession tormented the Perron family in 1970.

The family sought help and called in renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. It was in this house in 1971 that they came face-to-face with the most malevolent spirit they had ever encountered.

Now, the Ghost Adventures crew is ready to explore the house, which has experienced continued hauntings. As always, they’ll confront the potentially dangerous entities within. Their cameras are the first ones allowed inside the house in 15 years. What might they capture?

The unprecedented event also includes an interview with Andrea Perron. She experienced the horrific hauntings while living there many years ago, and later wrote a book about it. Well, three actually – House of Darkness House of Light: The True Story volumes One, Two and Three.

Ghost Adventures: Curse of the Harrisville Farmhouse premieres on Thursday, October 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

  1. There must be a LOT of things that happened if Perron filled three books’ worth!

  2. Author

This is why I love your comments. You think of things I don’t. I never considered that. I’ve never read any of them either. I’ve seen her name as a guest on radio shows and such but until recently only understood who she was. Might have to check her books out and see listen to what she was to say next time she makes an appearance somewhere. You’ve got me intrigued now!
