Some of you may recall a post I made a couple months back about a paranormal tourism company looking for ghost tour beta testers in southeast Wisconsin. It had come to my attention after the company’s owner, Susan Scot Fry, left a comment on another post about state tourism offices realizing Haunt Jaunts boost travel revenues.

At the time I wrote about the company needing some beta testers, I wasn’t at liberty to divulge the company’s website, just their name.

But now I’m very excited to share with you that Caper Company Tours has officially launched both their website and their Haunt Spots Tours!

As you might imagine, this concept greatly appeals to the Haunt Jaunter within me. Susan’s done a magnificent job of putting together a concept that allows people to become Caper Company Explorers who set out on self-guided tours in search of haunted places.

What I really like about it is she’s done all the work for you. Rather than scouring site after site and compiling your own list of haunted places to jaunt to, just buy one of her packages. Your “haunted itinerary” includes stops that are within five to twenty minutes of each other, which makes it easy to do a tour in three to six hours. It all depends on how much jaunting you want to do that day!

Check out more of the nitty gritty on the How Does This Work page.

Check out the different capers offered on the Choose Your Haunt Spots Tours page. (Right now there’s just one listed, but there’s more coming.)

Follow their blog: Haunt Spots Tours (And here’s a link to one of their posts which officially announces their launch and describes a little bit more about how the company came to be: What’s Your Ghost Story?)

FYI

I invited Ms. Fry to be a guest blogger so hopefully she’ll grace us with her presence. I also asked if she’d like to be interviewed.

Basically, don’t be surprised if you hear and see a bit more about Caper Company and their Haunt Spots Tours!

  1. Thanks! So far, so good. Marketing a brand new type of tour product is tooooouuuugh. But worth it.
