How to Enter the Nick Groff Giveaway
The first thing you need to do is visit the contest page on his website. (You’ll find the link below in the For More Info section.)
You’ll find a bouncing button that reads “Yes, I want to win a 1-on-1 investigation with Nick.” Click that, which will take you to another page with two more steps to follow.
Step 1
The first step leads off with another video to watch in which Nick explains why his annual contest is bigger than ever before in 2021.
Basically, it’s to thank all of his fans for continuing to show him love no matter what he does and for always being there for him. This is in part what he had to say:
This kind of love and passion is very hard for me to ignore. It makes me feel deeply moved. I always try to find cool ways to give back and show you some love and engage with you as much as I can. However, after last year with all that everyone has been through, I wanted to make this one more special, more epic than ever before, and give back so much. You can feel the love from wherever you are in the world and also make the biggest positive impact in your life.
Nick and his team came up with a couple of ways to engage more with fans and let fans interact more with each other. One of those ways is via a new online community: Nick Groff Explorers.
“It’s a movement where all of us can collectively be a part of each other’s experiences,” says Groff. He wants to bring people together to share their love for exploring the unknown and searching for answers.
He then goes on to explain what kind of prizes you can win and how you amass points to qualify for the different prize levels, including a shot at the grand prize 1-on-1 investigation. This leads us to step 2.
Step 2
You’ll see a Points & Leader Board with a variety of tasks. You earn points for every one you complete.
There are 45 tasks that don’t require a purchase of any kind. They range from pretty easy stuff, like sharing on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn (for 350 points each) to more involved tasks like sharing a photo of your favorite paranormal equipment (500 points), posting a video of your best Nick Groff impersonation (500 points), or writing a review for Death Walker on IMBD (which is worth 1,000 points but it hasn’t premiered in all countries yet, including the U.S.).
There are many, many more ways to earn points. Some really allow you to get creative, like drawing a funny picture of Nick or a ghost (300 points), creating B-roll footage for Nick to use (1,000 points), or exploring a haunted location in your area (1,000 points and you have to follow specific instructions).
You also get a link to share and for every person who signs up using it, you’ll get 500 bonus points. We linked ours to the contest site in the For More Info section below.
But there’s also another tier of tasks for earning points, the VIP Bonus Points tasks. You can really rack up some major points, but you have to be willing to buy Nick Groff merch. Or, in a couple of cases, parts of the Hinsdale House. A 5×4 section of siding will nab you 7,500 points, but will also set you back $75.

You’re eligible for certain prize packs when you amass enough points to unlock certain levels.
- 3,500 points – Get a 25% discount code you can use off a $50 purchase in the Nick Groff gift shop.
- 7,000 points – When you hit this level you will receive 10X more bonus entries, 3 Nick Groff Screensavers & 1 Ringtone.
- 25,000 points – You’ll get Nick Groff’s Limited Edition NG Explorers T-Shirt and A Nick Groff Autographed Photo, PLUS 20X bonus entries towards winning the Grand Prize at this level.
- 100,000 points – An Ultimate Nick Groff Fan Pack consisting of a hoodie, a quartz watch, a Beanie, a coffee cup, and a phone case will be yours at this level.
- 150,000 points – In addition to earning 100x bonus points, you’ll also get a throw blanket, autographed tumbler with a special message, and autographed paranormal equipment.
- 200,000 points – At this level, you can start earning some cash, specifically $250, along with a personalized video from Nick, an autographed clock, a Nick Groff bean bag, and a “huge” canvas poster.
