A List of Questions for Alexandra Holzer

Polaroids of who what when where why how questions on a wood backgrond

Before my chat with Alexandra Holzer, daughter of paranormal pioneer, Hans Holzer, on October 19th, I asked what would you ask her? I received some fabulous questions. (Thanks again to all who submitted).

I had shared which questions I was thinking of asking her in the “what would you ask her” post. I thought it’d be fun to share the questions I received from my solicitation. Here they are:

The Questions You Submitted

From Deedee (a.k.a. one of my A Haunt Mess co-hosts and the Wednesday night host of Twitter’s #HauntedHour.)

  1. Do you, and did you father, think the psychics were actually channeling the spirits from the cases that your father was working with?
  2. What would/does your father think of you opening his files and re investigating his cases?
  3. It seems to be a popular belief that poltergeists are not spirits but a creation from a human. What do you think?
  4. What advice do you give to other women working in the paranormal field?

From Writer Katie Craig

Growing up with the paranormal being her normal, has any place or event genuinely frightened her enough not to revisit?

From Writer Priscilla Bettis

I would ask her how old she was when she first became aware of the paranormal. And I’d ask her if she has experienced any poltergeist activities (as opposed to spirits).

From Paul Rusnak

What are your favorite places to explore in Ireland?

From Writer Pamela K. Kinney

If her father’s work ever came home with him–spirits that may have and if so, how did her mother, and even her as a young girl, handle it?

Which Were Asked?

Which questions did I ask?

I’m in the process of writing up the chat recap and working on a podcast release. There was a major hiccup with the podcast part of things, so sadly I don’t have the full interview to share. But I’ll have a little bit.

As soon as it’s all done, I’ll come back here and share links to both the post and podcast. Then you’ll know what I asked!

**Spoiler Alert** I wasn’t able to ask them all, but I’m hoping she’ll carve out time to talk to me again so I can (a) record properly, and (b) ask the questions I wasn’t able to get to.
