We’ve recently learned about a Secrets of Sulphur Springs Disney+ update.
In a departure from how the Disney Channel normally releases shows to the streamer, they released the first five episodes of the series to Disney+ a week after it first premiered on TV. New episodes have followed every week since, and will until all 11 episodes are out.

Disney’s new live-action time-travel paranormal mystery series, Secrets of Sulphur Springs, looks pretty good, but where can you watch it? Will it be on Disney+?
That’s the first thing I wanted to know. In case you’re not familiar with the forthcoming series, let’s take a quick look at what it’s about.
Secrets of Sulphur Springs Storyline
It doesn’t seem like Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver) is too psyched to move to Sulphur Springs, Louisiana, when his dad buys an old hotel, The Tremont, to fix up. Apparently, it used to be a popular vacation spot, until tragedy struck. Can Griffin’s family bring it back to life?
The trouble is, the rumor around town is that the hotel is haunted. Will this make Griffin an instant outcast in his new school? Who knows, but it doesn’t stop Harper (Kyliegh Curran) from becoming his new best friend. She says plenty of people have reported seeing the ghost of a little girl called Savannah (Elle Graham) around the hotel. She assures Griffin it won’t be long before he does either —and she’s right.
Savannah disappeared 30 years ago. What happened to her? More importantly, have Griffin and Harper found a way to travel back in time and change what happened to Savannah?

Release Date
According to Disney Plus Informer, Secrets of Sulphur Springs premieres on the Disney Channel on January 15, 2021, with a special one-hour uninterrupted event.
Then, starting on January 22, new half-hour episodes will follow on Fridays at 8:00-8:30 p.m. EST/PST.
When will Secrets of Sulphur Springs come to Disney+?
According to What’s on Disney Plus, the series was originally supposed to launch on Disney+ but then got moved to the Disney Channel. Eventually, it will make its way to Disney’s streamer, but I haven’t seen any word about exactly when.
Hopefully later this year? Perhaps closer to October and Halloween season? Maybe (hopefully) sooner?
I’m not sure, but if I see anything I’ll be sure to write a follow-up post.

It’s okay to admit that you watch Disney shows, by the way. Thanks to the pandemic and my love for Star Wars, I broke down and added Disney+ to our Roku so I could watch The Mandalorian. So I’m hoping Secrets of Sulphur Springs comes to Disney+ sooner rather than later because I’ll for sure check it out.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
