What’s old is new again this Halloween. Elvira is prescribing new movies every Sunday in October on Netflix’s socials for the streamer’s Netflix and Chills Halloween offerings. Now another boob tube horror icon is hosting a movie marathon. Butch Patrick, the original Eddie Munster from the hit TV series The Munsters, is set to host Classic Reruns TV’s Halloween Monster Bash on Sunday, Oct. 31.
Since Classic Reruns TV just launched this year, this will be its first-ever Halloween Monster Bash. Nice. It’s not wasting any time getting into the spirit!
To make it even spookier, Patrick will host the Halloween Monster Bash from Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum in Boulder City, Nevada. Does that mean viewers might get to see a little bit of the museum too? (I hope so!)
“This is going to be a special Halloween night as I host a viewing of four of my all-time favorite horror films on Classic Reruns TV,” said Patrick. “I’ll share behind-the-scenes details about each movie as well as give fans insight into my time as Eddie on The Munsters.”
Halloween Monster Bash Movies
Patrick personally selected each of the four films, which are:
- The Day the Earth Stood Still
- A Bucket of Blood
- Little Shop of Horrors
- The Son of Dracula.
How to Watch the Halloween Monster Bash
Classic Reruns TV is America’s newest streaming and over-the-air channel dedicated to legendary television shows and films. The Halloween Monster Bash will air on the channel on Halloween night starting at 6 pm ET.
You can check their Where to Watch page to see if they broadcast in your state, and if so, which city(ies) and channel(s).
Classic Reruns TV isn’t available via one of the 12 streaming options for horror fans, but you can stream it on DistroTV, KlowdTV, SelectTV, Vidgo, and Stremium.
“This is our first original programming since launching Classic Reruns TV in May of this year, and we’re thrilled that a true TV icon like Butch Patrick will host our inaugural event,” said David Bishop, president of Classic Reruns TV. “Our goal is to provide programming and events you won’t see anywhere else.”

What a difficult question! There are so many good horror flicks out there. I think I’d pick something from different eras: Dragonwyck, Psycho, Blair Witch Project, and Annabelle. Butch Patrick still looks like Eddie. With a widow’s peak he’d be even more like his young TV self.
GREAT list!!! And super clever to spread it out across different eras too! And he really has aged well, hasn’t he? Sometimes you can’t see the kid anymore in some adults. You sure still can with him. I wonder if he ever adds the widow’s peak for fun?
