After so many paranormal shows were cut following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, it’s surprising The Ghost Town Terror season 2 is happening. But it is. It premieres on Travel Channel on Thursday, September 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

But did it really merit a second season? I don’t know about that, but new activity prompted ranch owner Karen Broussard to contact paranormal investigator Tim Wood and paranormal researcher Sapphire Sandalo to come back out.

Which, there I go again, getting ahead of myself. Let’s recap what led to season 1 in the first place.

The Broussard family sought a new life in Big Sky Country, so they bought Gunslinger Gulch, a ghost town and guest ranch on the outskirts of Anaconda, Montana. However, they soon learned it offered anything but the serene life they hoped for. Their idyllic ghost town came with actual supernatural activity.

Last season, Wood and Sandalo were joined by psychic medium Sarah Lemos and paranormal investigator Scott Di Lalla. They’ll also be returning this season, which is sparked by a home chimney fire that unleashes new threatening, dark activity. Let’s take a look at the episodes.
