Why Would Zak, Nick and Aaron Need These Funny Yellow Suits for Rolling Hills?

I was lucky enough to get some advanced info about tonight’s Ghost Adventures Rolling Hills Asylum episode. Included was the above picture.

My first thought was, “Why the heck are they dressed like that? What kind of role playing shenanigans are they up to this time?”

Well, as I watched the episode (because I was also lucky enough to get a sneak peek of it), it all made sense. They take a little side excursion to blow off some steam. And that’s before they settled in for the investigation. Given how intense it was, I’m wondering what they did to blow off steam after!

I’m not going to give too much away about the show, but I will say this: When I finally had a chance to watch last week’s Gettysburg episode I was disappointed. In large part because thanks to being on vacation I had to record it and my DVR lied to me. The description read “Part 1 of 3.” So I thought, “Wow! A three-parter of Gettysburg. Fantastic!”

Wrong! If you watched the show then you know they just investigated three different places in Gettysburg in one night. Dumb DVR for misleading me like that!

But I also didn’t like all the dramatics from last week’s epi. Them dressing up, recreating some battle scenes, etc. I know they want to let out their inner actors, and that was okay, but maybe for an outtakes episode.

I have to admit I was a little apprehensive what the second episode of the new season would bring. Like I said, I don’t want to reveal too much, but in my opinion it’s one of their creepiest investigations yet.

Put it this way, they started getting EVPs before the investigation even started. (On the walk through!)

Here’s a glimpse of just a few things you’re in store for tonight:

  • A satanic nurse who’s possibly responsible for the death-threat EVP directed at Zak
  • An apparition of a “giant” caught on camera
  • Screaming ladies and slamming doors (clip of the slamming door below)
  • A Christmas room where Zak reveals a secret fear and Aaron gets a new nickname (Santa’s Little Helper)

  1. Court; you gotta read the newest LAUGH about Zak on my blog. You will get a hoot out of it. He just keeps bringing it for us.

  2. Immediately before the door slam, there is a solid orb that travels to the upper left of Aaron. I didn’t see if they caught that.

  3. When the EVP “let’s brawl” is reviewed, you can see a light at the end of the hall appear then disappear.

  4. did you all see the face when david (the guess speaker) was telling nick was there face behind nick and they turn to david with the camera it look like there was face behind david

  5. no i didn’t see the face, but i will go back and check it out

  6. really there is a light, i’ll have to check that out too. Its sad i usually catch everthing but my son is up and asking for everthing

  7. did u guys see the energy that was in the layzer beems?

  8. i don’t like when the ghost slap the guys

  9. Yes. I saw the laser beam mist. Pretty cool. I also saw the orbs Matt mentioned. I always tape this show, so I’ll have to watch it again, of course!! 🙂

  10. want to know what is so werid, i work in a group home and when we have major behavioral problems. They go to a place called Rolling Hills for 1 or 2 weeks

  11. They wanted an adrenaline rush. So they went for a boat ride Haha. How was that by the way?

  12. I think one of the best parts was was hearing that woman scream her head off….and when Aaron got a face full of spider web..lol.

  13. You should check out the part where Zak yells out OMG!! I just saw a shadow block out the light down there and then Nick slowly turns around and points his camera in that direction. When he does that pause your DVR or Player and hit the fast forward button slowly. You can actually see the shadow standing in a doorway on the right and it steps in further into the hallway and then steps back and disappears…If you try to watch it in regular speed it goes by pretty fast…

  14. I think when the EVP caught ‘I’ll slap you bitches”, or a sentence similar to it, that it was either an incorrect interpretation or, should the show be a fake, a slip up by a producer of some sort, see, that type of sentence wording is American slang only used in the past decade. To assume that the audience is not educated enough to catch that, is flawed logic on the part of the producers. This is an example of why the paranormal is not taken seriously by those of us in the Sciences. I found that I am disappointed with this episode and hope the next one does not do the same.

  15. i know that was funny ill slap u bitches then he thinks a spider web gose in his eye LOL

WOW! THANKS so much for all the comments and all the “did you see” this notations. I missed all of that stuff. I had to go back and see if I could catch it. And the people who answered the Q of my headline and knew they were decked out to be in boats: you’re pretty good! I would never have known that if I hadn’t done something similar. Seems there are a lot of water people out there! This was a lot of fun to read all of your comments. THANKS again for leaving them!
