Unscramble the Haunted Places Game

How do you feel about word jumbles? You know, unscrambling letters to see what words they form?

I’ve always loved them. I’m not always good at them, but I do love brain teasers like that. (I rock at word searches, though. It’s the one thing I’m freaky fast at.)

Anyway, for Paranormal Day I thought it’d be fun to try making one. So I did! Let’s see how it turned out.

Will you be able to unscramble the names of these 10 famously haunted places? (If you get stuck, I’ll link to a solution sheet. But I won’t publish that until May 4.)

How to Play

  • Unscramble the following letters.
  • Each line spells the name of a haunted place.
  • Some letters are capitalized. Those start a word. (That’s me helping you cheat a bit. If I do this again I might not be so generous!)

Example: Eesttrn State Peeirantiany

Answer: Eastern State Penitentiary

They start out easy and get harder.

Good luck!

You did SO good!!!! I have to admit if I didn’t know these, I’m not sure I would’ve gotten LaLaurie Mansion, Villisaca Axe Murder House or St. Augustine Lighthouse. lol (And definitely not the last 3!)
