You might have heard the news that the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast Museum has new owners. U.S. Ghost Adventures recently acquired the property in Fall River, Massachusetts, after the previous owners decided it was time to retire.
U.S. Ghost Adventures plans to continue operating it as a museum and bed and breakfast, where visitors can tour the home and stay overnight in one of six rooms. Lance Zaal, the founder of U.S. Ghost Adventures, says a “healthy transition” and “preserving the historical site” are top priorities.
“We look forward to adding the Lizzie Borden house to our growing portfolio of haunted experiences and working with the staff to create new opportunities for guests,” said Zaal. “We have exciting plans for the house that we’ll announce in April. A healthy transition for the staff and preserving the historical site are our top priorities.”
To celebrate their acquisition, the company is hosting a sweepstake. The Lizzie Borden giveaway will award a lucky winner $500 toward transportation costs and a complimentary two-night stay in the infamous house for themselves and a guest.

How to Enter the Lizzie Borden Giveaway
All you have to do is enter promo code “BORDEN” when booking a ghost tour in any of the cities U.S. Ghost Tours offers tours in. (Which is a lot and new ones are being added. They’re listed below.)
This means that, yes, a purchase is required in order to enter the Lizzie Borden Giveaway. However, their tour prices are pretty reasonable. They start at $19.99 per person.
Is the code good for their Ghostflix tours too?
In addition to in-person ghost tours, another product U.S. Ghost Adventures offers are Ghostflix, live-streamed and on-demand ghost tours.
Since COVID restrictions have eased in a lot of cities, they aren’t currently offering any live-streamed tours. However, they were a great alternative during the height of pandemic lockdowns.
They still have the On Demand tours available, though. They cost $13.
However, no. The “BORDEN” promo code does not count as an entry in the Lizzie Borden Giveaway.
