The “Fangtastic to Be Alive” Giveaway [CLOSED]

I mentioned in my first Court’s Corner video (Court’s Corner is one of the Playlists on HJ’s YouTube channel) that I was going to host a giveaway for some blood-themed items in honor of Blood Cancer Awareness Month (which happens in September).

I fully intended to start the giveaway in September, but two things happened:

  1. I was waiting to have my semi-annual oncology checkup. It was originally scheduled for September 4th, but the doctor needed to bump me to September 10th instead. I wanted to make sure I got a clean bill of health before I created a contest. (I felt fine, but I didn’t want to jinx myself. Contests are a lot of work. So is being sick. If I needed follow up visits and treatments, I didn’t want to have to worry about potentially cancelling a contest.)
  2. We had a sudden death in the family. (Ironically, on September 4th.) That broke my heart and threw me into a funk.

However, I did get a clean bill of health on the 10th. I’ve allowed myself time to mourn and am starting to feel better. The prospect of hosting a giveaway once again thrills me.

I’m not throwing it during the month I intended but that’s okay. Anytime’s a good time for a giveaway right?
