You might have heard that Blumhouse and Amazon Prime Video have teamed up to launch Welcome to the Blumhouse, which will consist of eight original Blumhouse films. Or maybe you didn’t and this is the first you’re hearing about it.
Well, they did, and recently they announced the release dates for the first four films as well as dropped a trailer about them.
They’ll release the first two on October 6 and the other two on October 13. The remaining four movies will be released in 2021.

The Lie is a psychological horror starring Joey King, Peter Sarsgaard, Mireille Enos and Cas Anvar. It was written and directed by Veena Sud.

Black Box
Black Box ventures into the sci fi thriller arena in this tale about a man trying to raise his daughter but also recover his memory after surviving a tragic car accident.
It stars Mamoudou Athie, Phylicia Rashad, Amanda Christine, Tosin Morohunfola and Charmaine Bingwa. It was directed by Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour, and written by Wade Allain-Marcus

Black Box also drops October 6.
Nocturne
Sibling rivalry doesn’t hit a sweet note in this movie about a pianist who would go to any lengths to best her sister at a prestigious school for classical musicians.
It stars Madison Iseman, Sydney Sweeney, Jacques Colimon and Brandon Keener. It was written and directed by Zu Quirke.
It releases October 13.
Evil Eye
This horror film is based on an award-winning and best-selling Audible Original from Madhuri Shekar, who also wrote the screenplay.
A mom fears that her daughter’s boyfriend is actually the reincarnation of a man who tried to kill her 30 years before.
It stars Sarita Choudhury, Sunita Mani, Bernard White and Omar Maskati. It was directed by Elan Dassani, Rajeev Dassani.
