Earlier this summer I had a chance to talk with Azure Hall, the communications director from US Ghost Adventures, about their Lizzie Borden House acquisition. At that time she eluded to, but couldn’t elaborate on, some things they intended to do at the house when Spooky Season drew nearer. I’m thinking this is one of them!

The Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic Ghost Hunters/ Paranormal Investigators to conduct ghost hunts for our guests at the famous Lizzie Borden House. Candidates must have experience in paranormal investigation, as well as a proficient knowledge of ghost hunting equipment.
Job Duties
- Greet all guests promptly at scheduled tour times.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our facility and related topics.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of ghost hunting equipment.
- Qualified candidates must be skilled in both customer service and public speaking.
- Clearly and articulately provide information to guests in an engaging manner
- Answer any questions that the guests have.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years of experience in paranormal investigation required; Experience in public speaking or guiding tours preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Excellent conversational skills with a knack for storytelling.
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with improvisational skills.
Pay
$15-$25 an hour with the potential to make tips.
It’s also important to note the Lizzie Borden House Paranormal Investigator & Ghost Hunter is a part-time gig working the night shift.
