A couple of year’s ago I published an anthology via Haunt Jaunts called Shadow People and Cursed Objects: 13 Tales of Terror Based on True Stories…or are they?.
One of the stories was “Bye, Bye Blackbird” by Emerian Rich. That’s how I met the Horror Hostess for HorrorAddicts.net.
Since then we’ve become friends. If you listened to my radio show you may have heard Emz’s name before. She was a guest once or twice.
She’s also guest posted here a few times. Most recently to share an excerpt of HorrorAddicts.net’s newest publication, Crescendo of Darkness. It’s fourteen tales of murderous music, demonic performers, and cursed audiophiles.
The Call for Submissions
Earlier this year, HorrorAddicts.net had a call for submissions for story or book excerpts to be read during their Season 13, which is themed “We’re Cursed!”
I decided to submit one of my stories from Shadow People and Cursed Objects: “The Gypsy’s Curse.”
Low and behold they accepted it!

Unfortunately, that was two days before we left for our big trip. I didn’t have a chance to start promo-ing it then. But I’m back now and am hopping on it!

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days.
