August 2018’s Paracons & Horror Fests

Surprisingly, August is one of the last busy months for paracons and horror fests.

At least according to our Paracons & Horror Fests Events page, that is. We have as many listed as we’ve come across, but we may be missing a few. (And if that’s the case and you know of any, please shout!)

However, of those that we do know about? There are cons for just about para sensibility this month. Meaning it’s a well-rounded smattering of paranormal, horror, Halloween, cryptid (ie. Bigfoot), and psychic cons.

The only para discipline not represented is UFOs/aliens. (However, other months have already seen many, and come October there will be several more UFO cons.)

Spotlight on a Few of August’s Paracon and Horror Events

  1. Craving Halloween? There are two cons for Halloween enthusiasts this month: the Halloween & Hauntfest Show in Texas and ScareLA in California.
  2.  Looking to better understand or develop your spiritual connection? Check out the Woodbridge Psychic Fair in New Jersey or take an Alaskan cruise with the Association for Research and Enlightenment.
  3. Love horror movies? Meet stars and other fans at Scares that Care in Virginia and Monster Mania in New Jersey.
