There aren’t any new series, seasons, or specials premiering concurrently on Travel Channel or discovery+ from January 30 to February 12. However, a new season of Ghost Adventures, which previously premiered exclusively on discovery+, premieres on Travel Channel. And there are new episodes of seasons already underway. Like Kindred Spirits. And one of them is a doozy when Amy and Adam confront an explosion of paranormal activity in a widow’s Pittsburgh home.

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.

Oh gosh, they all sound scary, but The Curse of the Jinn would be the most frightening to me in real life because I don’t know enough about Jinns or the culture in which they appear to know what I’d be getting myself into!
Priscilla, Jinns are quite the subject when it comes to “creepy” and all-around bold, wicked spirits. I believe they are murderous and quite dangerous, as well. I haven’t really heard of them haunting locations in the U.S., and I might do some further research to find out why. The good thing is that they don’t haunt in the U.S. … at least we think they don’t! LOL!
Courtney, I am subscribed to Discovery+, but this is great news for those who aren’t. Additionally, I love Paranormal: Caught on Camera, which I hope to see more of soon, but I am happy to hear they are continuing with the, not quite as good, but still, excellent, Unexplained: Caught on Camera. I figured they would. Those types of programs are very inexpensive to produce compared to your Ghost Adventures/Kindred Spirits/Ghost Hunters/Holzer Files shows, and that’s why we get so many episodes of them. The ghost shows that I never got into, and I am glad there aren’t that many anymore, are the ones with paranormal investigators sitting in a chair, talking to a camera, telling of their experiences and exploits, while actors are shown re-enacting the scenes, with fake ghosts and tedious sound engineering. BOOORRRIINNNGGGG! The ONLY show I like that is similar to that format is Haunted Museum, because Eli Roth is a mastermind at creating fear, and it is quite frightening. Besides, although, I am only a 50/50 fan of Zak (because of the whole Nick Groff debacle, as you already know), it’s fun to learn more about the histories and stories behind the objects in Zak’s museum, and Zak is, admittedly, pretty good and bringing it home.
Sorry, this is a little off-topic, but … funny, I just noticed your poll at the bottom of the page. I was cursed by a witch, my first wife’s mother. She cursed me financially, for sure. What else she did, I am not sure of, but I had a hell of a bunch of years where my life was a complete and total money mess … no matter what I did. I even became Christian to battle the evil curse, but to no avail. I had been prayed over many times … still, nothing. She finally died about seven years ago, and I literally, FELT the curse lift off of me. Then, suddenly, like overnight, no monetary problems, whatsoever, after over thirty years of struggling, even though I was making almost six figures a year back in the day. So, NO, I am already proof that curses are very, VERY real, and would never want to go through something like that again.
