On the season premier of Destination Truth, in the “Belize Goblin” episode, Josh Gates and the rest of the DT crew stopped at a market. They were there to pick up a few things to take as gifts to a tribe they were on their way to see.
But of course they found other things. Such as a wig Josh felt compelled to try on.
He quipped that he looked like Dora the Explorer.
It wasn’t like he was looking in a mirror when he said it. He simply put it on and immediately joked, “I look like Dora the Explorer.”
OMG! How did he know? The resemblance is uncanny. (Except for the scrubble. But Dora in drag? Yep. Josh Gates has that covered.)
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. LMAO!!! That was funny. I think it was last year they actually put a Dora the Explorer figurine on Josh’s birthday cake. Of course he was messing around & it fell over, so he claimed Dora was drunk. I had trouble catching the actual night investigations as we were too busy tweeting about the LOLs leading up to them. I’m going to have to rewatch these eps on DVR.
