*UPDATE*: Haunt Jaunts Start Date on ParaMania Radio

Okay so the big news a couple weeks back was that Haunt Jaunts would soon be coming to ParaMania Radio.

I told you I’d update you with the start date when I had it. Got it!

Tuesday, March 7, 2017 8 pm Eastern/ 7 pm Central

The Format

It’s going to be a weekly talk show.

That’s right.

You (hopefully) + me (definitely) + guests (when applicable, which will hopefully be regularly) = every Tuesday night.

Unless I’m out jaunting and can’t make it. Then we’ll play an encore.

But I don’t have any trips scheduled until April so…for the foreseeable future you can tune in every Tuesday evening, 8 pm Eastern/ 7 pm Central and listen to Haunt Jaunts from now on.

How cool is that?

(I’d like your answer to be an enthusiastic: “Very cool!” However, we haven’t done our first show yet, so I’ll let you slide this time with a conservative, “We’re about to find out just how cool that is…”)

As mentioned above, I’m going to have guests.

Our first show is going to feature the Fearless Ghosthunter himself, Scott Morrow.

You may have seen me talk a lot about this Scott Morrow character lately. There’s good reason for that.

Ever since I met Scott at HAuNTcon and sat in on his class, then talked with him after, my world has evolved in amazing new ways.

For starters, he’s the one who told me about the Anchor Inn Demon Scariest Places on Earth episode.  (In addition to other things I haven’t even written about yet!)

Then he was kind enough to invite me on his show.

Which led to him encouraging me to apply for my own show on ParaMania Radio. Which I did.

And then, to my surprise and delight, Dave and Brock, the station’s owners, accepted my app!

And that’s how we got here…

New Page

If you’re visiting HJ’s website from your computer, you may have noticed a new Tab at the top: Our Radio Show.

If you’re visiting from your mobile device, here’s how to view it:

  1. Click the the red square with three white horizontal bars in the right corner. (It shows beneath the site name and ad on my phone.) That pulls up our menu.
  2. Scroll until you find the “HJ on Paramania Radio” line. Click that and you’re there!

What’s on our new page?

You’ll find all the info you’ll need to listen in and participate.

That’s right, audience participation is not only possible, but encouraged!

Two ways:

  1. Chat room
  2. Call-in number

In addition to a chat room, ParaMania Radio allows you to call-in too! So if you ever want to talk with me, you can!

You’ll also find a schedule of topics/show guests on our new page.

And if you know of someone you think I need to talk to? Use the suggestion box!

“Your banner says Skellie will be there too?”

Yep. He’s my boy. We roll together. Wherever I am, he’s usually not too far away.

Of course he has no voice box so he can’t talk, but we’re so in sync I know what he’s thinking. I can translate his thoughts for you all to hear.

Come listen.

You can listen live via ParaMania Radio’s website:

All you have to do is log on at the scheduled time.

You can also listen live via TuneIn Radio in three ways:

  1. Live online: (Just search for ParaMania Radio.)
  2. Via the TuneIn Radio app for your phone. (Downloadable via Google Play or in the App Store.)
  3. Sonos. (I have a Sonos speaker and discovered TuneIn on their also lets me hear what’s currently playing on ParaMania.)

Can’t make the debut show? (Or any others?) No worries!

ParaMania has a handy dandy On Demand section:

Just click whatever show you’re looking for and it will list the episodes. (As of this posting, we don’t have a section, but as soon as we have shows we will!)

So come jaunt with us in a new way. If you dare…

P.S. The site will still be here too, updated regularly (or irregularly, as has been the case lately) with blog posts and event info. We’re just expanding into a new realm. Excited to have you along for the ride!
