The Mean Kitty Song: A Scary Catchy Tune

THE SAGA OF HOW WE LEARNED ABOUT THE MEAN KITTY SONG

If you follow HJ on Facebook you might’ve seen my posts (rants and raves) about my computer crashing late last week. Because it’ll take 7 to 10 business days for a fix-it disk to arrive, I opted to buy a new computer.

Except the new one wasn’t exactly working right. I ended up having to return it the very next day because turns out it had a bad hard drive.

Anyway, while I handled the exchange, my husband roamed around the Best Buy store looking at things. That’s when he came across the Mean Kitty Song.

He wanted to test drive my newest new computer by playing me the Mean Kitty YouTube clip when we got home. Guess who’s head that song has been stuck in ever since?

A FEW OF MY FAVORITE MEAN KITTY SONG CLIPS

And guess who’s head I hope it gets stuck in next? (Just kidding. But I do hope you’ll get a kick out of these vids if you haven’t seen them before.)

Below you’ll find three YouTube clips:

  1. The original Mean Kitty Song
  2. A take-off video based on the Sparta-inspired rap
  3. A Sparta-based Paranormal Activity-type spoof –just perfecct for Halloween! (Sparta the bad little ghost kitty…. You have to watch all the way to the end to understand what I mean by that.)

Get your boogie shoes on and enjoy!

(I should also warn you that besides getting the songs stuck in your head you may find yourself watching the videos over and over. Not only if you’re a cat lover, but because the “rappers” are easy on the eyes too!)

  1. Thanks Court, the first song is going through my head….hey kitty!

  2. Sorry, Julie! I probably should’ve left a better disclaimer about the catchiness factor, eh??

LOL! Sorry, Brenda! And YOUCH! Bad cat! Luckily mine don’t attack the legs…very often. Once in a while Mr. Meow does. But he’s declawed. However, he still has teeth and he’s not afraid to sink those into my legs! Yowie Meowie!!!!!!
