Party Favor: Book and Coffee Lovers Prize Pack

Ready for a chance to nab some more party favors?

Here’s what I got to giveaway: a Book and Coffee Lovers Prize Pack, which includes:

*Elizabeth Eagan Cox and Peter Fenton (aka Doc Paranormal of one of my favorite blogs, Ask Doc Paranormal) not only generously agreed to donate copies of their books to Haunt Jaunts Anniversary Bash Giveaway but also agreed to mail them to the winners. (Yay! Less work for me!)

Leave a comment below answering this question: Where do you like to read?

That’s it. Easy right? (Life’s too complicated a lot of times. Once in a while you just have to make it simple.)

This time around it’s ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

DEADLINE: April 12, 2010.

DRAWING: April 13, 2010. (I’ll be doing the random number generator thing, so your number will be based on the order in which your comment is received. Yep, I’ll tape it as proof, too.)

This wasn’t part of the original posting. I added it on 4/7/10. Entries can only be mailed within the U.S.Β  I apologize for not stating this earlier and any inconvenience it may cause.

  1. Ooh! that paranormal mystery suree sounds good to me! Well I like to read :
    On the deck,
    at the picnic table,
    at the kitchen table,
    In bed,
in the car (when i’m NOT the driver ha!)
almost everywhere – but no NOT in the john!

  2. Wow! Sounds like a great prize pack! You should have one-year blogiversaries more often. Congrats, again! πŸ™‚

  3. I read EVERYWHERE. I always have books with me and I read them whenever there is downtime. I even have a Kindle on my iPhone so if I don’t have a book, there are books on my phone. πŸ˜€

  4. Wow you’re in a giving mood. There’s only two places I read: at my desk or in bed. Can’t really concentrate anywhere else.

  5. Well, you said coffee so I couldn’t pass this one up. I always read on the couch, usually where I fall asleep. Hope you’re doing okay. Jeez, I haven’t talked to you in a while.

  6. I like to read wherever and whenever I can. Whenever the kids aren’t jumping on my head and I’m not at work. I carry my book with me almost every place and if it gets quiet, I read.

  7. I love to read in the library – my library has this ultra soft sofas and these huge huge windows and it’s so quiet and refreshing inside! Other than that I’d have to say sprawled on the couch at home πŸ™‚

  8. I enjoy reading on the bus or plane (on the way to somewhere) or on my plush couch!

    Thanks for this amazing giveaway!

  9. Anywhere I get the chance! Little ones don’t give you much time for lounging, but if I could, I would love to sit outside on a rocking chair and read until my eyes bug out!

  10. I love to read in bed. Trite, I know, but my bed has a comfy built-in chair back for a headboard and it makes it so relaxing to lie in bed and read some delicious Tanith Lee. I have a hard time losing myself in a book in public regardless of how immersive it is. The allure of people watching is too strong.

  11. I love to read outside on my porch, stopping briefly to look out over the Smoky Mountains while I mull over the more interesting bits of the book.

  12. Okay….I know I cannot enter… because I’m one of the authors whose book is being given away in this contest.
I just want to point out that the pic (above) of my book: A Ghost of a Chance
is the pic of the Amazon Kindle version and that the book I will send to the winner is the paperback version, also sold at Amazon and at all other book retailers. The book covers for my e-books and paperback versions are slightly different. You can see them and read free chapter excerpts on my web site:

  13. I forgot to answer the question, oops. My favorite place to read is outside – anywhere outside. Usually ends up being a bench at the playground while my kids play. I can judge the amount of exercise they’re getting by the number of books I finish! πŸ™‚

  14. My favorite place to read is in bed next to my loving husband while he is reading as well..Comfortable, Cozy, and Awesome πŸ™‚

  15. I love to curl up in bed with a glass of wine and a good book but if I’m really hooked on a story I will even bring it to the park with my kids and sit on a bench reading while they play.

  16. I like to read at a back table of my favorite brewpub, with a pint of locally made stout or nut brown ale… πŸ™‚
