Author Kathryn Hohmann to Guest Blog on Haunt Jaunts

We are excited to announced that Kathryn Hohmann, author of Soldiers Rest, has offered to write a guest blog for Haunt Jaunts. Here’s part of the pitch she sent me:

I’m author of Soldiers Rest, a mystery story that’s based on a true story about Rebels who disappeared in the aftermath of a Civil War battle. The town where the conflict took place, Burkittsville Maryland, was also the site of the movie, The Blair Witch Project. You can check out the book and a bit about the story behind it, at

I would love to author a guest post about what–or who– haunts the hills of South Mountain, and why questions linger about the fate of the Rebels.

Honestly, if she hadn’t offered to submit a guest blog, I was going to ask if she’d want to. This is my kind of story. Sounds like a great one and we’re very excited she contacted us. We’re looking forward to reading more about this.
