THE FORUM
We’ve always had the Book Nook section of our Forum where we offer a way for writers and readers to mingle.
We welcome authors to share their latest releases. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your book, why you wrote it. Help us get to know you and your passion for it.
We’d also love to hear from more readers about what books they’re reading or have really enjoyed. Are you looking for something in particular to read? Ask! Maybe someone will have a suggestion.
GUEST POSTS
We’ve also always encouraged authors to submit guest posts. Well, not just authors. Other bloggers, tour company owners, haunted attractions, tour sites…we don’t discriminate.
The only thing we’re fussy about it is we like the post to be about a haunted place or event. You know. Something keeping in line with the theme of our site.
As part of your bio, we’ll happily link to whatever site you want. If you’re an author, we’ll also happily share the details of your latest release.
CONTRIBUTING WRITERS
A few authors don’t mind having their name associated with us. They prefer a little more recognition and control. We gladly set these people up as Contributing Writers.
They get a Haunt Jaunts username and can log on to post whenever they want, as much as they want. Or as little. It’s their call.
Their name also appears in the Authors drop down menu on the sidebar. That provides an easy way for readers to find more of their posts.

However, today we’ve added a new element of promotion possibilities aimed at Guest Bloggers and Contributing Writers who are also authors. It’s the Books by Our Writers page.
If you take a look, you’ll notice we list their books under their names. All books. Fiction, non-fiction, a variety of genres (although most are understandably horror). We also link to their posts. It’s a way to give our writers and their work a little extra exposure.
SHARING IS CARING
Of course, any posts made to the Forum, or guest blogs, etc get shared on our Twitter and Facebook pages. We’re up to 7,100 + followers on Twitter and nearly 6,650 on Facebook.
So, no, we’re not huge, but we continue to grow and are able to get you a little exposure.

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
