Starting this Saturday, guest blogger Psychic Investigator Paul Fitz-George will join Haunt Jaunts as he shares his six part series, “Whitby’s Fascination for the Literati or how Dracula met the Jabberwocky.” (We’re just calling it the Whitby Series.)
Mr. Fitz-George caught my attention on a LinkedIn group we both belong to. He posted something about Whitby being haunted and it’s connection with some prominent authors, including Bram Stoker of Dracula fame who used some of Whitby’s ghosts, legends and lore in his novel.
To me, all that sounded like wonderful subject matter for a guest post, so I asked if he’d be interested. To my delight he said yes.
Why a six-part series?
Mr. Fitz-George put a lot of work into his submission. It was too lengthy for just a single post, and too rich with history and anecdotes to try and pare it down to fit into a single post.
The logical thing, then, was to break it out into several posts. That way readers could feast on it in enjoyable bites and not miss a delicious morsel.
Two parts will post each Saturday for the next three weeks, starting this Saturday, August 27, 2016. Here’s what you can expect:

Never heard Whitby?
If you’ve never heard of Whitby. Don’t feel bad. Neither had I.
However, I guarantee after reading Mr. Fitz-George’s Whitby series you will be entranced, intrigued and wanting to pack your bags to jaunt there. (I know I am.)
