Haunt Jaunting Around the Blogosphere: The Ghost Hunting Parablog

Last week I received a very nice email from Daniel of The Ghost Hunting Parablog inquiring if I’d be interested in a link exchange.

This was my reaction when I read his email: “Butter my buns and call me a biscuit!” (Wish I could take credit for that line. Alas, I saw it on a doormat once and have never forgotten what a great expression of surprise it is.)

Why was I so excited? Because I aspire to to be like The Ghost Hunting Parablog one day.

At least on Twitter, where they’re better known as @GhostHunterBlog. They’re nearing 7,000 followers as of this post. (And I was excited to actually hit 1,000? Shoot, you wouldn’t be able to butter my buns and call me a biscuit if I reach that many followers. You’d have to scrape me off the pan I’d be so fried up from excitement!)

And not that I wouldn’t want my overall blog to be like theirs. It’s just that theirs is more comprehensive and covers more of the ghost hunting aspect of the paranormal. I’m very niche in my travel coverage. Doesn’t appeal to all the ways theirs does.

However, I was super excited that Daniel took the time to write me directly like he did. (And super relieved when I discovered, as I suspected/hoped, I already had The Ghost Hunting Parablog on my Blogroll.)

Now my question to you is, do you have them linked on your site?

If not, here’s why you might want to check them out. In addition to articles, they have:

  • Ghost Hunting Books
  • Ghost Hunting DVDs
  • Ghost Hunting Equipment
  • Ghost Hunting Videos

The neat thing about their equipment is they have all kinds. Everything from audio editing software and video equipment to cameras and EMF detectors. They provide a description of what the equipment does, along with any reviews there may be from those who have used it. Then, if you decide you’d like to buy something, you can. Right there from their blog! (It seems they use mostly Amazon as their seller of choice.)

Oh, and you know how I wrote about SCARED!? The Ghost Hunting Parablog’s got you covered with FULL episodes you can watch right from their site!

I’m actually going to double-list The Ghost Hunting Parablog on my links now. It doesn’t quite just fit in the blogroll. It also deserves to be stashed under Paranormal Sites.

So, see there? Here I am trying to boss you around and convince you to add them to your lists. Ha! Turns out I needed to heed my own preaching!
