I apologize for the back-to-back posts. As I explained in the post announcing the winner of Giveaway #1, I encountered a few hiccups when uploading the video where I drew the winner–and at the same time drew to see which fiberdoodles-inspired Halloween Blog Party treat I’d be giving away next. (I had hoped to pick a new giveaway yesterday, but personal matters interfered. Whoops! Nothing’s quite gone as planned lately!)

At any rate, the next treat up for grabs is the $25 AMC Gift Card*.

Leave a comment answering YES or NO to this question: Do you like scary movies?

Your answer doesn’t affect your entry one way or the other. As long as you answer, you’re entered!

Do you want to affect your entry, though? As in a good way by earning bonus entries? Earn up to SEVEN (7) entries total by doing the following:

  1. Tell me what’s the scariest movie you’ve ever seen. (Note, it doesn’t have to be a horror movie. Some people say Michael Moore movies scare them. Heck, one time I even heard of someone being afraid of Babe! Something about the talking pig freaked them out.) = 1 more entry
  2. Follow me on Twitter** = 1 more entry
  3. Become a Haunt Jaunts fan on Facebook** = 1 more entry
  4. Copy & paste the following in a Tweet: I entered to win a $25 AMC Gift Card in the @HauntJaunts Halloween Blog Party Giveaway #2 = 1 more entry
  5. Copy & paste the following on the Haunt Jaunts Facebook page: Silence is golden, please turn off your cell phone. = 1 more entry
  6. Do all of the above and I’ll give you an extra bonus entry for a grand total of 7 entries into the drawing! (Your initial entry answer + the 5 bonus entries + the extra bonus entry)

**For those already following on Twitter or FB, please let me know and you will automatically get those two extra entries.

  • You have until Saturday October 24 at Midnight CST to enter
  • Winner will be chosen and announced Sunday October 25
  • I will do a taped drawing again. Hopefully this time I’ll even be able to post it along with the winner announcement!
  • I do make every effort to contact winners.

There are more giveaways to come. I’ll have to ramp things up to give away the remaining treats, which are:

  1. $10 BP Gas Gift Card
  2. $10 Starbucks Gift Card
  3. $25 Shutterfly Gift Card
  4. $50 Best Western Hotel Gift Card
  5. Hardcover copy of Joe Hill’s Heart-Shaped Box
  6. Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire (This treat donated by our special guest sponsor PublishingWorks!)
  7. Haunted Cemeteries of New England (This treat donated by our special guest sponsor PublishingWorks!)

Stay tuned for further details on how to enter for these!

  2. Gee, it didn’t take my answer. I’ll try again.
As a kid–“The Haunting” was scariest
    As an adolescent “The Omen”
    As a teen “The Changeling”
    As an adult “Jeepers Creepers

  3. No not a big fan of scary movies. Some are okay, but the new really gory with disturbing content movies, no not at all, I’d much rather watch a comedy!

  4. The scariest movie I’ve ever seen was Running Scared. Not so much the whole movie but the bit about the crazy pedophile couple who abducted and killed children was just too much for me, so so scary and disturbing.

  5. I posted to twitter, face book joined you everywhere and now I am adding a comment. Please enter me 7 times.
I don’t really like scary movies, yet I go ghost hunting..Go figure ha ha
I am going today to watch Paranormal Activity. I just hope it is realistic and of one of those movies like the Blair Witch..I think that movie has to be one of the most stupid movies ever made.

  6. Yes, I like scary movies. The scariest one so far was The Ring. I can’t say why, but man it haunted me.
I already follow you on Twitter 🙂 I just became a fan on Facebook (Yay Me!!). Maybe I’ll see Paranormal Activity on you!

  7. I don’t like most scary films. I like very very few. The scariest the ones I’ve seen? Hm…I’m not sure really. The Ring was a bit freaky in the first one. When a Stranger Calls was sooo freaky.
