Ghosts Caught on Camera in Bar and Vandalizing Cop’s Car

Last week a couple of intriguing ghost caught on camera videos came to my attention. One was a news story about a Florida hotel’s haunted bar. The other was of a police officer’s car possibly vandalized by a poltergeist. Both had CCTV footage to accompany their tales.

SPIRITED HOTEL BAR

Plaza Resort & Spa

Orlando’s WESH.com reported that one night earlier this year, hotel security at Daytona Beach’s Plaza Resort & Spa saw something unusual while monitoring the surveillance cameras. They spotted something odd in the bar and sent a guard down to investigate. He didn’t see anything, but he claimed to have felt something wasn’t right. He turned tail and scrammed.

Here’s the video of the news report. You can see a definite mist or smoke or something moving around in the bar. What do you think it is?

Side Note: Apparently the bar isn’t the only place in the hotel where paranormal activity has been reported. Room 1111 is where a man fell to his death. Not sure if it’s his ghost some sense in that room and other areas of the hotel, but it is one that often has complaints of strange goings on.

PARANORMAL VANDAL

Yahoo! Odd News shared a story about a possible poltergeist wreaking havoc in the parking lot of a police station. The bad ghost was caught on camera by the police station. It had cameras trained on the lot where officers park their personal vehicles.

A mass materializes from the upper left side of the screen, swirls down, descends on a car, then all of a sudden the driver’s side mirror comes off and tumbles around the parking lot for a bit.

The officer first thought it was vandals, but couldn’t figure out why no other cars in the lot had been tampered with. Upon reviewing the security cameras, that’s when he and some of his colleagues spotted the “ghost.”

However, even before the weatherman was consulted (he appears later in the news story about the incident), my first thought upon witnessing the video was, “That’s a dust devil.”

But I have to admit the video at first blush is pretty impressive. Although in this case an explainable case of a ghost caught on tape.

  1. Bar ghost is not a ghost, it’s a classic mistake, it’s a bug on the lens.
