Lucy, I got some ‘splainin’ to do!
Yesterday I tried to post a comment on PublishingWorks Facebook Fan Page. It appeared for a second, then vanished.
My heart sunk and I immediately thought of Patty. She had said she’d left the comment “Silence is golden, please turn off your cell phone” on the Haunt Jaunts Facebook page for the bonus entries in the AMC gift card drawing, but I didn’t see it…so I didn’t give her the 2 extra entries she was actually entitled to. (I had looked and looked, because on her page it showed where she had written something, but…there was no comment.)
Anyway, after my hiccup, I suddenly had an idea something was amiss with the settings. So I went and fiddled with them on the HJ FB page, and sure enough, it had something to do with that.
Today I noticed not only Patty, but Kim, Tracie and Syd had also tried to leave comments on the fan page for bonus entries. Apparently Facebook didn’t display them, but they didn’t delete them. The second I changed the setting, they appeared!
GULP! That means you four got gypped entries you should have received!
So I owe you four not only an apology, but some extra bonus entries!
